2026 Applications

Scholarships for High School Seniors

All high school graduating students living in the Ferndale School District boundaries are eligible to apply for the scholarship. This includes private or public schools, home schooled, or other school of choice school students as long as they live within the Ferndale School District boundaries.

Submissions must be received via upload no later than Friday, March 27, 2026 at 11:59 pm.

Discuss in 150 words or less, what you see as your responsibility to your community as a volunteer. Explain your direct involvement in all volunteer activities and be specific about any leadership role you played. Be specific about the number of hours/month spent on each activity. Attach your typed response to this form. If you are unable to volunteer because of paid employment activities, use the 150 words to discuss activities you engage in that benefit your family, neighborhood or community. Be specific about the number of hours/month, and any leadership role you played. Examples include: singing in a church choir, babysitting siblings so your parents can go to work, helping your grandparents with yardwork, etc.

Acceptance Agreement

If I am awarded a scholarship, I will notify the donor within 10 days, in writing, of my acceptance or rejection of the award. If, after acceptance, circumstances prevent me from entering college, I will notify the Pleasant Ridge Foundation immediately.
